i just thought i'd post an update since i've been home for awhile now and i go back to school in like a month.... ya i'm a lazy bum.
well i've had four jobs this summer. but the first was by far my favorite.
i was a nanny!! o my gosh i loved it so much! there were four of the most adorable cuties ever! Hailey, 7 (sassypants) Randy, 6 (Bubba) Brianna, 3 (Nan) and Caden who just turned one!!! i went to their house everyday and got the older two ready for school; breakfast, clothes, hair, teeth, shoes, lunch, homework etc. and then i would feed the baby and clean up after the older ones were out the door. then it was time to wake Nan and get her ready for preschool. she is the cutest little girl in the world and she knows it! she also likes to make sure her outfit and hair are absolutely impeccable! so 5 outfits and 3 hairstyles later she chooses shoes that don't match (there is no swaying her otherwise) and we are out the door! then back home to laundry, dishes, and cleaning up all around the house. Their mom is pretty much the sweetest person in the world! She was having some back issues and asked me to come help her, so i basically became part of their family for a couple weeks and i loved it!
one day Nan and i were sitting in the play room trying to clean up, haha which really means i'd pick up a few things and she'd get them right back out again which was immediately followed by an attack from the tickle monster!!! after one of these attacks i asked her OUR trademark question "guess what pretty girl??" to which she would cutely look up and ask "what?" to which i would reply "i love you!" she was so cute! after i said this she would ask me the same question and give me the same response with a ginormous hug of course! after one of these delightfully heartwarming exchanges she threw her arms around my neck and asked "can i keep you forever???" my heart just melted. what do you say to that?? just one thing.. "ABSOLUTELY!"
i've missed seeing them everyday.
job number two, helper at a preschool, for two whole days. whoop dee do. it was very fun though!
job number three, fashion rep at delia's. i now own most of their clothes haha. i looooove delia's!
job number four, student aide at summer school. which entails some pretty interesting experiences. but i love it! crazy right?? absolutely psycho :)
did i mention my mommy got me a puppy for my birthday!!!! AHHHHHHHH! :) her name is brandi and i love her! also, my bestie since we were 3 got MARRIED! holy cow! but i really haven't seen anything so beautiful as Miranda walking out of the temple holding hands with Jake. i'm so happy for her!
I CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK TO BYU. i love being home with my mommy! i love seeing all of my friends back home! i love texas! buuuuuuuuuut i miss the "blanielellorishinodu" family :) haha even though 2/6ths of them will be on their missions! YAYYYYY! i'm so so so so excited to room with shelby and live with michelle and becca and olivia!! it will be so fun!! holy cow! more 15 hour dates anyone?? jj ijc :)
alright back to work.
